I have been in Elementary and Middle School education since I was 20 years old, and I enjoy going to work every day. I have held various teaching and administrative positions in schools around the US. I began teaching in 2001 at Alimacani Elementary School in Duval County Public Schools, as a 2nd Grade teacher. In 2003, Jacksonville Country Day School teaching Pre-K to 6 Physical Education, Health, and Swimming. In 2010, I completed my principalship at Ribault High School in Duval County. In 2011, I taught 5th & 6th grade Math and Science for Duval County before moving to New Hampshire to be a Residential Dean at Hampshire Country School. In 2012, I moved to D.C to work at Janney Elementary School, where I served as an Assistant Principal, Executive Director and Director of Operations for Janney’s Auxiliary programs. From 2016 to 2018, in addition to working at Aidan Montessori School, I served as an Assistant Principal at Brookland Middle.

In my free time, I enjoy reading (especially science fiction and fantasy), playing co-ed competitive sports, outdoor hiking and trail running, deep wilderness camping, playing video games, going to the gym, and attending church every Sunday.
