Front Range Community College
With nearly 23 years of experience in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, I have a deep commitment to fostering the growth and development of young learners. I studied Early Childhood Education at Front Range Community College and hold a Colorado Shines Level 4 certification as well as a Large Center Director certification.
I am passionate about literacy and find joy in sharing my love of reading, writing, and words with children. In addition to literacy, I enjoy introducing children to the wonders of nature, science, and the world around them. One of my favorite quotes, “Teaching a child not to step on a caterpillar is as important to the child as it is to the caterpillar,” reflects my belief in the importance of nurturing empathy and curiosity in young minds.
Outside of the classroom, I cherish spending time with my children and grandchildren, engaging in activities like cooking, baking, and crafting together.
