Anna has been at Bixby since 2016 when she began teaching 1st-3rd grade literacy in our elementary division. A native New Yorker, Anna received her MSEd in early childhood and special education from the Bank Street Graduate School of Education. Anna believes that learning happens best through meaningful relationships and experiences. She is passionate about child-centered learning and the power of play to help children make meaning of their world. Outside of school, Anna loves to travel with her family, cook, sing karaoke and snuggle her dog.
