I bring enthusiasm and joy to my teaching practice and love seeing my students thrive as they strengthen their literacy skills and gain confidence in themselves. I specialize in literacy intervention, reading and writing instruction, spelling, and helping students develop organizational skills. I started at Bixby in 2010 in the After-Care program and have been teaching at Bixby for 7 years. When I’m not at school or tutoring, I am probably outside- most likely climbing up Boulder Canyon, hiking in the foothills, or going for a run around my neighborhood. On less active days, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing or learning something new.
