At Bixby since 2021

I am a native Spanish speaker. I was born and grew up in Peru, and I first came to the United States in 2001. After several extended visits, I relocated to Colorado in 2004. I live with my family in Boulder. My husband Tim and I have three children. We are so lucky that our youngest child attends Bixby.

When I am not working, I love to go hiking with my family, to go on road trips, and to visit my extended family in Peru and in Europe.

I discovered a passion for teaching early on, and I funded my education in Peru by tutoring local children in both English and Spanish. I have been teaching for almost 20 years now. I still keep in touch with many of my earliest students. Several of them have continued their education in the United States and Europe. I am the founder of Escuela ELE, a small Spanish school located in the Gunbarrel area since 2015. I am so proud to have seen many of my students grow into amazing young people who are capable of understanding and seeing the world from different perspectives and have a passion for learning about other cultures.

I strongly believe in the value of learning a language at an early age. I am very grateful to be part of the Bixby family and to help your children discover their passions. I am positive we will all enrich one another on this journey. ¡Que empiece la diversión!
