I first experienced “Bixby Math” as a 3rd grader in Bart’s class. The way he taught it, math was cool and intuitive and satisfying – a perspective that I’ve learned as an adult is very rare considering the way most people were taught math! As one of the 2nd-5th math teachers I hope to pass along the same excitement and enthusiasm for math that I was lucky enough to experience here as a student!
