My first exposure to Bixby School was when I rode my bike from the glass studio where I was doing production work to interview with Pat and Bart for the position of Art Teacher. While my formal degree was in marketing, Pat assured me that if I was passionate about working with kids and was willing to learn that I could be a teacher. I love creating things, making things work, taking things apart and trying to put them back together, watching people discover something new and things that are mundane. In addition, I am the Facilities Director and strive to maintain a vibrant and growing campus. I can’t say enough about the great Bixby community, my wife Christy (who is also a teacher) and our daughter Evelyn.
