Working in early childhood education gives me the opportunity to learn alongside my students, to witness as they grow and discover the world around them, and is a true privilege getting to be in a position that facilitates a safe, nurturing, and fun environment as a teacher. I love getting to know each student’s personality and seeing their development through play-based and experiential learning. I am so excited to have joined the Bixby Preschool team, as these experiences for the students and staff align with what I love about working in this field.
I am from Basalt, Colorado, and moved to Boulder in 2014 to finish earning my degree at the University of Colorado Boulder. I love cooking, reading, being outdoors, camping, creating, and spending time with my family, partner, dog, and chickens.
