We have been so busy, that I don’t know where the time went! The students have been creating with pastels, paint, markers, and just about anything that can make a mark on paper. Much of what we are creating will be sent home soon, so keep your eyes peeled and Friday folders empty.
Fourth and Fifth graders have been experimenting with the 3D printer designing an object to print using kid-friendly programs. The programs are Tinkercad and Tinkerplay and they are worth checking out.
In the next few weeks as the leaves start to change and present us with different colors and textures, we will all be learning about the process of creating collages. Fall collages give us a chance to hone our scissor skills and spend time outside.
Student art will be going up on the boards around school and the Original Works fundraiser will be starting soon.
